BASIC INFORMATION

YOUTUBE is an app to search and view videos. You can watch to musical videos, jokes, information, news, recipes, etc.

If you have a Google account, you can also upload videos and share them with others. You can also rate and mark the videos you like most.

YOUTUBE allow you to access to videos which can improve our wellbeing (listening to music, watching documentaries or movies, etc.) or be a stimulus for us in learning something new (e.g. video tutorials uploaded by peers or shared by local community organizations).

Guidelines

FIRST STEPS: INSTALLATION

You can use YOUTUBE in your, smartphone or tablet.

Although there is an application available for most smartphones and tablets, you don’t really need to install the app.

So, to use YOUTUBE, you have to choices:

On a PC, smartphone or tablet: go to your favourite web browser and type: https://www.youtube.com/

On most smartphones and tablets: search YouTube on the applications list and click on the logo to open YouTube

HOW TO USE?

With YouTube you can watch a lot of videos. You can even upload your own videos.

YouTube is very easy to use.

Practical Activities

ACTIVITY 1:
I WANT TO GO TO THE CINEMA.

Do you want to go to the cinema? What movie do you want to watch?

Write the title of the movie on the YouTube searcher and you will find the trailer there.

What activity do you develop in your working place or center?
Maybe in YouTube you can find a tutorial to help you make better that activity.
